This one calls for a BBQ.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cedar Wood

  • 1 Salmon Fillet - bone out, skin on

  • 1 Tsp Mustard

  • 1 Tsp Coconut Sugar

METHOD

  1. Run cold water over the cedar wood slab

  2. Place salmon fillet on the wood and coat with mustard

  3. Sprinkle with coconut sugar, then place in fridge for at least 20 minutes

  4. Turn on BBQ to a medium heat, close the lid and let heat for 3 - 5 minutes. Place the wood in the centre of the grill plates and close the lid

  5. Let the salmon cook for 20 - 25 minutes, checking at 12 minutes to ensure wood is not burning too much. If it starts to burn or is on fire, use a spray bottle with water to cool it down

  6. Serve off the wood slab
